10th day in confinement

Today marks the end of my 10th day of confinement. And no, I am not fully recovered yet. Some of the pokes on my body had already dried up. However, there are those still with full of water in them. I can even spot a few red bean size pokes. Darn, I am not out of my confinement yet!

Tell you all, it is really suffering not to be able to leave your house for 10 days. I am almost bored to death. All I can do is surf the internet and play my Xbox. But I am already sick of doing the same thing everyday. Managed to do some early spring cleaning, but I am really super sian.

I miss my jogging sessions. Got a new G-shock but still no chance to put it into good use.

Darn my MC ends only at the end of this week. So, my confinement continues.. before I know it, I might have spidery webs all over my body....

Huh? Chicken pox?

Last Thursday, a small blister-like rush appeared near my armpit. Think nothing of this tiny red rush and I even poke it open. Check my other arm, a few red dots. Still think nothing of it because I attribute these rushes to maybe insects bites. Later that evening, went for a run. Completed 4.2Km and I felt more tired and fatigue as compared to my other runs.

Friday, still feeling very tired and fatigue. Went for a buffet and then to a wedding show at Bugis. Went my gf place and starts to ran a fever.

Saturday, rested at home the whole day. Fever on-off. At night noticed more red spots coming up. Darn, make me realised that I might already be down with chicken pox! Rush to see the doctor at 9 pm, clinics all closed.

Sunday, saw doctor first thing in the morning. Doctor said, "Yeah, this is chicken pox!" I was, what the..... chicken pox at age 30? Doctor says any age also can get chicken pox. He said he got it at age 20.

So, another two weeks of medical leave. The last time I went for two weeks medical leave is just last month lor. Darn suay lah.

So now at home, suffering from my itch and unsightly marks. Going to ban my mirror for the next few days....
