My Batam Trip

It had been a long time since I last blog. For the past month, I had been to occupied with work in my new work place. Things had been pretty good for me. I have good colleagues and a good boss. Had been enjoying my work since.

Ok back to the topic, My Batam Trip.

From this Batam trip, I realised that staying in Singapore is really luxury. Cannot really imagine that the comdition in Batam, just a 45 mins ferry from Singapore, can be so different. People in Batam does not have proper housing and needless to say, no clean water or electricity (those staying in Kampung). Therefore, life in Singapore is really great as compared to Batam.

Day 1 (07 Dec)

Day 1 starts with us gathering at MacDonald in HarbourFront for breakfast. By 0750 hours, we were on the first ferry to Batam. After changing and leaving our bags at Harris Resort, we were off to the work site. Soon after we got a briefing from the locals there, we began our hard day at work. For our 3 days there, we are supposed to do the foundation of the house. This is really no easy task. We got to dig a small hill for soil to fill about 30cm above the ground level. This hill is about some 50 metres away from the house and is on a slope. So transporting the sand to the house is really hard work. After transporting of the sand to the house, we got to flaten and spread out the sand. Things is not made easy by the hot sun. But well, all the 12 of us there did enjoyed ourselves. There were so much laughters throughout the day. We got to create laughter to make our tough work more enjoyable. Work stop at 5pm and dinner is provided by the resort. The food is not too bad. During the night, I can't really get to sleep as my hands are aching away. Had not done such manual work in a long time you see.

Day 2 (08 Dec)

Another long time awaits us. After breakfast at the resort, off we go to the work site again. We continued the task that we did on day 1. This time round, we go abit slower than day 1. We are already tired from the day 1 work you see. But well, we did managed to go ahead of schedule. We were given 2.5 days to complete the foundation of the house but by 3-4pm on day 2, we had already compeleted it. So our team-work is really great. Everyone of us really work hard to complete our work. So, after completing the foundation, we went on to construct the wall of the house. This is considered a much easier task as compare to laying the foundation. Constructing of the wall is fun actually. But in order that the wall will not collaspe, we got to be careful on the placement of every single brick. Hmm.. very good experience.

Day 3 (09 Dec)

This is the last day on the Island. Just a half day work and we will be going back to Singapore. The day starts with a slight rain. We all thought that the rain will do us some good, but we are so wrong. Things started to go wrong while our van was making the way to the work site. As the rain make the road slippery, the van was not able to go up a gentle slope. Thus, we had to take a big detour and ending up 30 mins late. More bad news awaits us. Today, we were supposed to help in the construction of another house. We were supposed to lay cement on the roof of this house. However, because of the rain, the cement truck was not able to reach our worksite. So, a change of plan and our group got to dig drainage system for the small village. This drainage would be able to drain all the rain water and thus would make the cement truck a easier route. Digging this drainage is another tough job. Every dig would have water splasing all over you.. haha.. although it was tough, it was pretty enjoyable to see everyone gets dirty......

Overall, this trip to me is enjoyable. We had a great team with great people. Tough trip but is fun. Looking forward to meeting my team mates again.......

Operation Cross Road

Mark this date, 14 Nov 2006.

14 Nov 2006 must be one of the most important day of my life. In this day alone, three major events are about to take place. These three events will change my life, for the worst or very hopely and very likey, change for the better. No joke, 14 Nov 2006 is that important to me. So let me tell you briefly what these three events are.

Event 1: We are expectating our number one boss at my work place. This is a rare opportunity that our workplace have a chance to receive him. I had been tasked the important responsibities to show him what we had achieve at our workplace. Not easy for me since I have not gave a public speech for ages. But, well, what is giving public speeches to me? CHICKEN!! Well, I am just consoling myself. But I must not cock up here, as most likely my future promotions could count on this visit.

Event 2: This is yet another step forward. This day will be my last day at my current office. Spent more than 3.5 years at this office. It is always difficult to leave a place so familiar to you, to go to a totally strange place with strange people. It is always tough to leave your comfort zone, a place where your boss trusted you, a place where you are been respected, a place where ones listen to your orders.... But in life, we just have to move on, we can't always stay at one place for too long. Move to seek greener pasture as they says.... yah right!!

Event 3: To end the day, together with my dear, we will make our giant step forward to our future. No. Not yet ROM, but an HDB appointment. This must be our happy moment. At last got something to look forward to, a place to call our own. We are selected to make a slection of our HDB Flat. Seeing people around us getting married and applying for flats makes us want a flat of our own too. So finally, its time to put down our $2000 disposit for our new flat... so happy....

So, wish me luck on that day. I need plenty of that.......

Back to normal

Yipeeee!!!

One week has passed since the day I started to perform office hours duties. I had been doing shift duty for about some 10 years now, so it is a great change for me. When I was doing shift work, I only work for about 15 days a month. Also I can always wake up late and have many off days. So, at first, I thought that I need some months before I can adjust back to life in office hours. However, I was glad that I am able to adjust pretty well to my current hours. I think I will grow to like my office hours duties as then I will have more time with my dear. Also, I will not have to work Sat, Sun and holidays which I need to during my shift work. Well.... its a good change

Anway, watched "The Guardian" at Causeway Point with dear. Before watching this show I had no idea that this show exist. However, we are glad that we chose this show. This is really a great show and I will give it a 9.5 ratings out of 10. Currently, this is the best I had watched for this year. Lots of actions, touching scenes and also many humours. For those who have no plans for the weekend, I will strongly recommend this show. This will be worth your money and time.

The Guardian

"After losing his crew in a fatal crash, legendary Rescue Swimmer, Ben Randall, is sent to teach at "A" School, an elite training program for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. Wrestling with the loss of his crew members, he throws himself into teaching, turning the program upside down with his unorthodox training methods. While there, he encounters a young, cocky swim champ, Jake Fischer, who is driven to be the best."

After sending my dear back, while driving back home, my car audio was playing "Goong" OST. Hmmm.... so I was thinking maybe during our wedding night we can have a Korean Theme. Play cool Korean love songs and wear Traditional Korean clothing. Also must wear the prince and princess outfit. Maybe serve Korean food too!? Oh no, when have i turn into a Piscean?

How to beat haze

How to beat the hazy weather these days? Well, the most obvious answer is to add more smoke into the air. We did that today, by going for a BBQ!

I always enjoy going for BBQ. Nice food, nice company and of course supposedly, can beat the haze. Although, the PSI is only in the 80s range, I sure hope that we did actually add on the PSI level. I think we did, because we had 3 BBQ pits! That the most number of pits I had ever set up. Although the pits are not that big, it sure does generates alot of smoke at one time. BBQ-ing in the haze, fun.

At BBQs, I always like to set up the fire and BBQ food for others. I enjoyed more to BBQ than to sit aorund and wait for food to be serve to you. So, today, 'chop' all the pits and was there BBQ-ing the whole day. The food is nice with lots of sausages. The gals gone crazy and high just by looking at the different sizes and thickness of the sausages on the pits. They can't wait to lay their hands on them. One burnt her tongue when she is too eager to get the cheese sausage into her mouth. Should have blow it first!!!!!

Anyway, the best I like is the cheese ones. The German ones also nice. Of course must be nice, because the German sausages is really expensive.

Well, looking forward for more BBQs as the haze continues to haunt us.

Angels, angels and more angels

In recent days, my life revolves round angels, angels and more angels. Had been making and selling angels for the past one week. But do not get me wrong, I am not sick of the angels yet, just yet. Instead, I am enjoying my brisk sales. Most friends and all of mine colleagues had been very supportive. I had not been rejected by my colleagues. Everyone I ask brought at least one from me. Thank you so much. Needless to say, my sister had been the most supportive. Without much psycho-ing, she offered to buy 10 from me. She find the angels nice and she wanted to give to her friends. Thanks once again.

Today, had a quick 2 hours nap after my night duty before I went down to meet the rest of my team mates. Spent another half day making more angels. Was pretty tired and irritated (I will be most irritated when I am lack of sleep), but my fun loving and cute team mates make me forget my tiredness. Haha...

Anyway, the sales goes on. We are still some way short of our targets. Please help if you can. For those who had already ordered from me, thank you so very much! I love you all!!

Be an angel, buy an angel

Had not done any volunteer or charity work ever in my life. Had only donated money to some charities I fancy. Therefore, this volunteer work, code-named "Batam Build", can be considered as my first volunteer work I undertake. This Batam Build involves going to Batam for a 3 days and 2 nights trip in December to help the poor and needy construct a house of thier own. The people there are poor and doesn't even had a proper house to call their own. For the months leading up to Dec, we had to raise a sum of at least S$3500 to buy the construction materials needed. Therefore, we are now selling 'angels' to help raise this fund. Each angel are hand-made by us and they are made of Swaroski crystals. The angels are made into handphone straps. Each angel will cost you $12 and 2 angels will go for $20. All funds raised from the sales will go into the project. No single cents will be profited. Anyone interested to help, please do so. Any other donations will be very much appreciated.

Here are how the angels look like.

Some closed-up shots.

Yellow angel

Green one

As can be seen from the pics that the angels are really nice. They look even better in real. Get one for yourself now and do some good to others.

Spirit of the Coin

This 'game' came to my mind when I was watching TV yesterday. So just wanna share my experience here.

Spirit of the coin. I think most of us had heard of the spirit of the coin or had even played this 'game' before. I still remembered that during my primary school days, this 'game' is very popular with many playing in school. Thus, this 'game' is been banned by the school even when it is been played outside school classes.

So, how is the spirit of the coin been played? Ok, a group of maybe 3 or 4 will use their index finger and press onto a coin. This coin will be on top of a paper with the letters A to Z and the numbers 0 to 9 written on it. The 'game' starts when the players will ask any spirits around to go into the coin. And each members will take turns to ask the spirit some questions. After the questions is been asked, the coin will move to show you the answer. Sounds impossible for those who had not played this 'game' before, but I can assure you, the coin will really moves! How do I know? Well, I played with this 'game' before.

That time was either in secondary or poly days. Guys at chalet almost always got nothing better to do. So we decided to play this 'game'. So we took turns to ask questions and the coin will move. When my turn comes, I decided to ask personal questions which only myself and not my group of friends knows the answer. No matter how personal the questions are, the coin will move to the correct answer. However, later we found out during the 'game' is that the 'spirit' is able to answer you questions that you already had an answer in your mind. That is, if you are thinking of an answer like "yes I am a virgin" to a question to "Am I a virgin?", the answer will be "Yes" even when you are actually not a virgin.. hahaha... fun right.. go play play!!!

What a sweet sweet victory

Yooooooooo hooooooooooooo! Manchester United 0 Arsenal 1

Arsenal had its first win of the season! And what a great place to have our first win at, Old Trafford. Man Utd had started the season with a perfect record. 4 out of 4 wins. Arsenal? The worst start in a season in some 10 years under Arsene Wenger, gaining only 2 points out of 3 matches and laying shamelessly at 17 th place. So everyone said that Arsenal had no chance at all. Some even predicted a 3-0 victory to the Devils. In the end, Arsenal played their best ever match so far in their 4-5-1 formation and deserved their win. Actually, they deserved to win by a greater scoreline if not for some nervious finishing.

Past history had shown that when Arsenal beat Man Utd at home, they will go on to win the League title. So, this is the season for Arsenal.

Emmanuel Adebayor. The player who scored Arsenal winner in the 87th minutes.

Strange dreams

This morning, just before I woke up, I had a pretty strange dream. I had actually dreamt about my primary school mate. Just one of them appeared in my dream. She is a gal named Bizhen. She is the gal who sat infront of me in class. Haha.. I had pretty good memory. Well, it had been a long long time since I graduated from my primary school in 1989. For the record, I am from May Primary School. Just learnt that the school had already closed down in 2001. So sad...

After I woke up from my dreams, I felt a bit of nostalgic and missed my prmary school days. So I went searching for my autograph book and started to read some of the entries. Saw the entry that is enterd by Bizhen.. here it goes...

"To: Peixi

Every day of our friendship is as the rays of a new dawn
Time may separate us, but distance cannot alter
feelings and trusts between friends who realise that the
same common bond is felt in the heart.
As our friendship grows and days become years, we will look
at our yesterdays and waiting for our tomorrows.

Best Wishes to you

Your friend
Li Bizhen
9.25am
7/11/89"

Quite a chim entry for a sch children at primary 6. I admit that although I am in the best primary 6 class (haha.. yah its true) I do think I can write something so chim then. Hmmm.. maybe she copied it somewhere.... :p

Anyway, this dream makes me wanna find back my primary school friends. It is definitely a tough job as it is already so many years since our last contact. And also our apperances had certainly changed alot. Tried finding them in friendster but no luck. So all I can do now is to look back on my memories and relive my primary school days...... I miss my primary school days......

My Birthday, 8 Sept

8 Sept is my birthday. On this day, received some greetings from my friends in the form of handphone messages.. haha.. all of which are sent by my female friends. One of my close friend, Sandra, called me from Sydney. She is doing the night shift in ICU when she called. Well, thanks friends for all your greetings.

Spent almost the whole of my birthday at Sentosa with my dear. First ended up at Underwater World. This is the first time we visit this place together. As usual, lots of fishes and lots of people. Lots of children enjoying their last day of school holidays. Sigh... dun like places with so many people..

Some fishes pics....

Not bad hoh.. Looks like as if the pics are taken during a dive.. ha...

As the entry ticket to Underwater World also includes the entry to Dolphin Lagoon, we also went to catch a dolphin show there. First time to see the pink dolphins since the place opened few years back. The half and hour show is ok. The dolphins are cute but still felt sorry for them. These cute dolphins should be in the open ocean but not kept in captive.

Anyway, had an enjoyable dinner by the beach at Coastes Resturant. Din managed to see any stars as the sky is very cloudy.

Overall, Sentosa had developed alot during the last three years. Much more things to do there then before. However, all these activities are all damn expensive. More for the tourists. Do not see a point for locals to spend so much on some of the activities there.

After Sentosa, when for a walk at Sembawang Park. Sounds ulu right? But the place is packed with people having their BBQ, fishing etc... But still nice and quiet...

So this is how I spent my 18th birthday! I will looking forward to more of my 18th birthdays!!

Mambo Jumbo!! Hooo......

After missing in action for a while, I am finally back at Zouk, Mambo nite. Not that I am always there, but I have always like the music and the crowd. The young crowd never fails to remind me that I am always 18 yrs old. I wanna be forever young.....

So was there with my friends from K9. All whom I din club with before. However, most of them can dance real good and certainly bring out the fun. Will go with them again if time permits.

And yah, while waiting for my car from the velet, saw some gals by the road side. One was holding a big plastic bag. Ya, she was puking into it. I always felt that this is really unsightly for gals to get drunk. What do gals do when they get drunk? They will KPKB. They will cry mother and cry father. I hate this sight. So my moto is, if you can't hold your alcohol, dun drink. Pls dun waste all your money (even if the drinks are from some guys) on drinks and make yourself suffer. How about guys who get drunk? They will try to pick a fight with every and any one they met... hahaha guys..

Oh, where am I??? Back to what I saw while waiting for my car. Ok, one gal was puking while another gal was sitting by the curb. And she was wearing a short skirt. So u imagine a gal with a short skirt sitting by the curb. What will u see? Of cos its color TV lah. She dun even attempt to prevent herself from been zhao geng... so free show for all!

So what I learn from these free show? Firstly, dun drink and puke by the road side. Secondly, if you wanna sit by the curb with a short skirt, please wear a nice g-string. No granny panties, please.

Beyond's fan with Leukemia

Read from a Beyond forum about a Beyond's fan with Leukemia that had passed away on 12 Jun 2005. This should her last account of her life....

Her name is 张静文.

Read that she is suppose to have another two more months to live. But she passed away the next day after she attended Beyond's concert. Doctors said she is too overly excited and got infected during the concert. I suppose someone with Leukemia is not allowed to go to places with too many people. But she insisted on going because Beyond is part of her life. If I am her, I may also do the same. I may forgo my two months of life to attend to Beyond's concert. But still, it is easier to say then to do it. So she is really one brave gal.

Red Star, My luck star

Today had breakfast at Red Star Resturant at Chinatown. Food is as per always, still as crowded, even thought not as crowded as the last time we went there. Actually, this is going to be my treat. But, however, I think my lucky is here to look for me. As I was going to pay the bill, I had a bet with my dear. Who ever guess the nearest amount to pay the bill wins. And the loser will of course have to settle the bill. So, my guess was $45. Hers, $50. Of we went to the cashier.... And guess what, the bill is exactly $45! Haha.. I am so smart... and so, thanks dear for the breakfast.. haha....................... :p

Recap for the week

Have not been blogging for about a week.

Time for a short recap.

8 Aug 2006

This day had an enjoyable time at a BBQ organise by my dear's good friend Ja. The BBQ took place at Ja's new condo. Darn nice place, how nice if we had a place there.. Well, back to the BBQ... I always like BBQ, because many friends will turn up and it is always fun catching up. Hmmm... all the people there are my dear's friends, but I also know them quite well too. I also always like doing the work at BBQ. Things like setting up the fire, BBQ-ing the food etc. I always expect a high standard of the food I BBQ, always make sure they are well look after.. ha.. so as not to get too many chao-ta food.

Anyway, Ja prepare some prasta that can fill at least 20 person ( we had only 8 persons). The prasta taste really good, even better than some of those selling outside. But of cos, we could'nt finished the food, cos I told you she prepared for 20 persons! ha... Had a really enjoyable day with my dear and her group of friends...

9 Aug 2006

National Day! Had another day slacking at dear's place. Yah, bake cake again. This time not murphy? (my dear told me it is spelt as muffins), but strawberry cake. Should be the first time we attempt to bake such a high profile cake before. It turns up pretty good I should say. At least my dad commented they are nice, but too sweet. My dad always complain our cakes are too sweet anyway.. ha. But he said that Ah Ying is very good, can go set up a cake shop... Yah, that's what he said....

Fast forward to 12 Aug 2006

My dear's first pay in her new job came in.. hmmm.. hope she save some for my birthday present :)

I got some plans to how I pass my day today, should a busy day I suppose. Here are my time table... anyway, the time now is 11.30am

12pm to 12.30pm - Go had my lunch

12.30pm to 2.00pm - Play my computer games

2.00pm to 6.00pm - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

7.00pm to 10.00pm - Play my Xbox

Slacking sat

Today, a Saturday, another day spent slacking at my dear's house. Had afternoon nap before dinner. And watch Superband finals on TV. Both of us voted a grand total of three votes for Milubing.. In the end glad that they won the contest... Always think they are a band with lots of creativities and their performances are always cute...

Well, after the show, baked chocolate chips and banana cakes. Or do you call that murhpy? or murhpines? Hmmm.. hope you get what I mean. Back to the baking... well, I always enjoyed baking with my dear. Lots of fun and of cos got nice, hot murphy? to bring home after that... The murphys? we baked together are always so nice.. heee..

But, when I went to retrieve my car, saw a slip of paper on my windscreen. Yah, that's it! Kanna already.. $20 gone... sianzzzz....

Pirates, finally

Finally, managed to catch Pirates II at Causeway Point today. Just before the show ends it ran. Had always wanted to go catch this show with my dear the first day the it had been screened. But for some reasons or another, we din managed to find any time for the show.

Well, the show is good. Rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Many actions, lots of laughters. But still not as good as the first, I think. So will I watch Pirates III? Ya, of cos, wanna see how they rescue Jack from the dead....

So tmr is another free day.... maybe wanna bake cakes together with my dear... hee :)

Long day....

Today had a long day at work.

Had a new gal attached to me. So got to bring her around and show her what's work is all about. That took me half a day till 3pm. After which went for a talk, till 5.30pm. That's leaves me 3.5 hours left to finished my work. So back to office, work, work , work and more work....... ZZzzzzzzzzZZZzz

After work, attended a friend's mum wake.... Shouldn't go into details here....
But many kids at the wake. Make me realised that I do actually love kids. Two years ago, I can't imagine myself been a father. But now, I think i am ready, or so I think... ha... Anyway, I want THREE (3) of my own!!! But hmmm... my dear say max is two...... hmmmm.... the more the merrier mah.... hee..

Back to the wake...

Left the wake at almost 12am. So din managed to speak much to my dear. But no worries, we can always do it the next day.. dear hoh....

Dreams Shattered :)

Just now at about 10.30pm, I was sleeping like a child on my dear's bed when my HP rang.

The other side of the phone goes;

"Hello, Raymond here. Tmr got people take urgent leave, so need men to help cover his duty"

That's it. My off day is going to be burnt. After some consideration, I decided to cover the whole shift instead of two person to cover 6 hours each. And so me and my dear's dreams had been shattered. Ya, we had wanted to go eat Pizza Hut cheeze pizza. So that's goes our plan. But no choice, work more important, no work where got money to go Pizza Hut? Anyway, my dear is very understanding one... she can wait for her pizza :)

Saying Goodbye!

Sometimes, most of the time, saying goodbye is one of a sad, sometimes depressing thing. Today, I just said goodbye too. Yah, I said goodbye to my good old MONEY! Darn it, today spent another $400 on my car. Send my blacky for 40K servicing. I tot $300 should be enough, but then I need to change my wiper, do tyre rotation and balancing, change to a better engine oil and etc etc.... but well, that's what car owner had to do. Pay to service your ride. But, at least now I can feel that my ride is much smoother now.

But wait, my heart almost jumped up when I saw the mechanic washing my car!! Darn, I din know that they will be so nice to wash my car. Just case you all dun know, I sent my car for polish and I will only allow them to wash my car. Why? Because, my car is black in color and the normal cloth we use to wash / dry the car will leave behind slight scratch marks. So my car cannot be dried using a cloth. My car need to be blow-dry! But lucky, the damage is not that bad as I tot... anyway, I will be going for another polish soon.. hee....

Hmmmm.... I think today I will let my dear knows about my blog liao.. ha...

Ok.. rain has stopped. My dear waiting for me.....

Broke, totally!

July 12th is the day whereby civil servants around Singapore received their mid-year bonus, including me. However, as all we know, once the government give you something, you will NORMALLY will have to return the amount, doubled, even tripled! Well, at least that happened to me. Soon after July 12, I got my statement from IRAS. Yah lah.... time to pay tax..... and days after that, letter from LTA.... yah man.. its that time of the year again... time to settle my road tax. So that goes my July bonus... But wait, there is still the car insurance to settle... What the...

July is always one of the month, civil servant look forward to, but for me, a month that means paying and paying. But what to do, wanna drive, got to pay... no complain. Anyway, complain also no use, still got to pay and pay. Haha... that's life.. And so, I am broke, totally.

Today, 24 July 2006, the turning point of my dear's life. Her first day as a teacher. Wish her all the best in her new career......

My Blog, my day

Well, it had been about a week since the birth of my own blog. And yah, I am still resisting the temptation of telling my dear that i had my own blog. Haha... wonder how she will react when she realised an old man like me will start a blog... If you are reading this and you wanna know the reason why I started this blog, go read my first post.

So today spent most of my time at TTSH. Was there with my dad and mum to see the the Eye Dr. Arrived there at about 2pm and left there at 6.30pm. And guess what, the carpark fees is darn si bei the expensive. I paid $9.20/- for that bloody 4 hrs at TTSH... Diu! Well, we are actually the last patient to leave.. Darn what a long wait. But at least the nurse who serve us last is very good. She said I made a good choice by not going into nursing.. ha.. My dad told her I got a dip in nursing, you see. And another coincidence thing is that another nurse there is actually an ex-police officer.. ha.... what a small world, or rather, what a small Singapore..

After the hospital visit, went to sleep early but only to wake up in the middle of the nite to surf the net.. wat a hot day.. and yah, tmr is another day at TTSH.. dad needs to undergo some test before his cataract day surgery....

Its finally over!!

Thanks God, it is finally over!!

Yah, I am refering to the World Cup 2006! No more World Cup means no more late nights... Yah I do need to catch up with my sleep. Had been spending too much time watching some crap football. Yah, the matches that I had watched had been mostly crap. Why? Well, of course I lost my bet on all these matches! Darn! Still, I still got a overall winning of about $300. Thanks Singapore Pools!

Seriously, the standard of this WC is not that high. What had happened to Brazil, you all know. Their best match is when they fielded their reserve players against Japan. What disappointment and letdown by players like Kaka, Ronadinho, who are suppose to light up this WC. Too bad they got beaten by an elderly France powered by the irreplacable Zinedine Zidane. Score a goal and close shop. That's seems to work most of the time...

Oh yah.... Zinedine Zidane... ha... what a glorious end to his international career. Scored a goal from a penalty in the Final VS Italy and then scored another great head-butt on Italy defender Marco Materazzi which earns him the RED card. What a good of action that certainly the most interesting part of the match... ha... what a great end to his career......

So no more World Cup, what's next?? Of cos the EPL!!!! Come on Gunners, you can do it...

Dinner at Bugis

Today I worn my new T-shirt and 3/4 berms I brought from Hong Kong. The Tee is a Hard Rock Tee and the berms is in a flowery pink.. My dear say that I look so cute and so hip....

Well, back to topic... dinner at Bugis...

Dinner is fine, at a Chinese/Thai resturant somewhere in Bugis... As usual can't finished the food... Hungry people always order more than what we really need.. But the food consider not too ex... $12 per pax for each 6 of us...

After dinner, walk to Sim Lim Square and happen to see Gab... wat an coincidence... talk to him and felt bad for him. Felt bad cos we din invite him for the dinner. Well, he is abit weird but in my eyes he is still a nice guy who treats his friends well. I maybe wrong, but this is what I felt....

First post

Blogging.

Why start blogging now when the craze is now on "video-blogging"?

Well, an article in "Mind Your Body" I read while I was doing my business by the editor Sharon changed my mind. She wrote that as she aged, her memory starts to fails her and she could not remember some of the things that had happened in her life. Lucky for her, she had kept a diary for the past 19 years.

I was thinking, it must be really pathetic and even sad to even think that my memory could failed me one day. I would not want to forget my past, my happy times, my childhood, my school days and my time with my family and my dear. Thus, I decided that I should start this blog of mine. Not to draw the number of viewerships, but rather as a backup to my memory. Who knows what will happen right? Nothing is certain in this world that is full of uncertainities. So it is never too late to start my own blog.

How much will I blog? I do not know myself. This could well be mine first and final posting. Or this could be the beginnering of many entries..........
