How to beat haze

How to beat the hazy weather these days? Well, the most obvious answer is to add more smoke into the air. We did that today, by going for a BBQ!

I always enjoy going for BBQ. Nice food, nice company and of course supposedly, can beat the haze. Although, the PSI is only in the 80s range, I sure hope that we did actually add on the PSI level. I think we did, because we had 3 BBQ pits! That the most number of pits I had ever set up. Although the pits are not that big, it sure does generates alot of smoke at one time. BBQ-ing in the haze, fun.

At BBQs, I always like to set up the fire and BBQ food for others. I enjoyed more to BBQ than to sit aorund and wait for food to be serve to you. So, today, 'chop' all the pits and was there BBQ-ing the whole day. The food is nice with lots of sausages. The gals gone crazy and high just by looking at the different sizes and thickness of the sausages on the pits. They can't wait to lay their hands on them. One burnt her tongue when she is too eager to get the cheese sausage into her mouth. Should have blow it first!!!!!

Anyway, the best I like is the cheese ones. The German ones also nice. Of course must be nice, because the German sausages is really expensive.

Well, looking forward for more BBQs as the haze continues to haunt us.

Angels, angels and more angels

In recent days, my life revolves round angels, angels and more angels. Had been making and selling angels for the past one week. But do not get me wrong, I am not sick of the angels yet, just yet. Instead, I am enjoying my brisk sales. Most friends and all of mine colleagues had been very supportive. I had not been rejected by my colleagues. Everyone I ask brought at least one from me. Thank you so much. Needless to say, my sister had been the most supportive. Without much psycho-ing, she offered to buy 10 from me. She find the angels nice and she wanted to give to her friends. Thanks once again.

Today, had a quick 2 hours nap after my night duty before I went down to meet the rest of my team mates. Spent another half day making more angels. Was pretty tired and irritated (I will be most irritated when I am lack of sleep), but my fun loving and cute team mates make me forget my tiredness. Haha...

Anyway, the sales goes on. We are still some way short of our targets. Please help if you can. For those who had already ordered from me, thank you so very much! I love you all!!

Be an angel, buy an angel

Had not done any volunteer or charity work ever in my life. Had only donated money to some charities I fancy. Therefore, this volunteer work, code-named "Batam Build", can be considered as my first volunteer work I undertake. This Batam Build involves going to Batam for a 3 days and 2 nights trip in December to help the poor and needy construct a house of thier own. The people there are poor and doesn't even had a proper house to call their own. For the months leading up to Dec, we had to raise a sum of at least S$3500 to buy the construction materials needed. Therefore, we are now selling 'angels' to help raise this fund. Each angel are hand-made by us and they are made of Swaroski crystals. The angels are made into handphone straps. Each angel will cost you $12 and 2 angels will go for $20. All funds raised from the sales will go into the project. No single cents will be profited. Anyone interested to help, please do so. Any other donations will be very much appreciated.

Here are how the angels look like.

Some closed-up shots.

Yellow angel

Green one

As can be seen from the pics that the angels are really nice. They look even better in real. Get one for yourself now and do some good to others.
